Lions Peace Poster Contest

Peace Poster Background

For the last 30 years Lions clubs around the world have proudly sponsored the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This art contest for kids encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace. Students, ages 11, 12 or 13, are eligible to participate.

The posters are judged by a special committee. The Pendleton Lions award cash prizes to the top three posters. The first prize winner's poster will compete in the district contest.

The winning district poster moves to the Oregon state contest. The Oregon winner then participates in the national contest. Finally the winning poster from the Unites States competes for the top prize at the international contest. The Grand Prize winner is awarded at the United Nations.
